Wildeboer Dellelce is proud to be a member of the Law Firm Diversity and Inclusion Network (LFDIN), a group of Canadian law firms who have agreed to work together to promote diversity and encourage a culture of inclusion in our firms and the broader legal profession, and is a signatory to the LFDIN Statement of Principles. In furtherance of Wildeboer Dellelce’s commitment to practising and advancing diversity and inclusion within the firm and in the broader legal profession, the firm supports The BlackNorth Initiative and is one of three original signatories to the Law Firm Pledge. The BlackNorth Initiative, led by The Canadian Council of Business Leaders Against Anti-Black Systemic Racism, released the Law Firm Pledge, asking leaders from Canada’s law firms to commit to specific actions and targets designed to end anti-Black systemic racism and create opportunities for those in underrepresented Black, Indigenous, and People of Colour (BIPOC) communities. Wildeboer Dellelce is also proud to be a founding member of the Justicia Project, a think tank created by the Law Society of Ontario and participating law firms designed to support the retention and advancement of women lawyers in private practice.

In addition, Wildeboer Dellelce has adopted the United Nations Women’s Empowerment Principles (WEPs) as part of its commitment to promoting gender equality and women’s empowerment in the firm and in the broader marketplace and community. The WEPs are a set of seven principles offering businesses guidance on how to promote gender equality and women’s empowerment, and are grounded in the recognition that businesses have a stake in, and a responsibility for, gender equality and women’s empowerment. Wildeboer Dellelce regularly participates in and supports a variety of outreach programs and initiatives in law schools and the broader community for the promotion of diversity and inclusiveness in the legal profession.
